There's not much to say..........

Except that our lambs are born in the barn, in winter or early spring, then spend the rest of their days out in open pastures.

Their Moms get regular preventative medication, such as de-wormings, and selenium supplements, apart from that, and their twice yearly pedicure, they are pretty much left alone to raise their lambs as naturally as possible.

This makes for much tastier lambs than those raised solely in barns, as sheep are ruminants, and they have not evolved to eat grains, especially those that have been 'messed with' by man, like corn and soy products.

In the winter they all get cull carrots or turnips, and our own hay and a mineral supplements. Thats it.

Every year we do the petting zoo at

dundasplowingmatch.com and some lambs have to do their penance for the cause, to promote our farm. Here they are this year,
